Statement on Nantucket Memorial Airport Jet-A Supply Disruption

Nantucket Memorial Airport temporarily suspended Jet-A fuel sales on Saturday afternoon, due to overwhelming demand, competition for tanker truck reservations on the ferry, and a National truck driver shortage.

New COVID-19 PCR Test Results Confirmed Since Monday, July 19

Wednesday, July 28, 2021 Testing Numbers

In response to regional surge of COVID-19 cases and inherent public interest in understanding the pandemic’s presence on Nantucket, the Town and Nantucket Cottage Hospital will be delivering COVID-19 PCR testing results to the public beginning today.

Today’s dashboard includes positive and total testing numbers from Monday July, 19 through Monday, July 27.
From tomorrow on, numbers shared will include previous day only.

The Town of Nantucket is pleased to announce the new e-Permitting Citizen Self Service (CSS) portal

From CSS, you can complete applications for Town permits including Health, Sewer, Building, Electrical, Gas/Plumbing, Zoning and HDC. You can view the status of a permit, schedule an inspection, monitor progress, and pay fees online.

As a result of increasing cases across the Cape and Islands, Health & Human Services Department avises all residents and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to use masks while indoors and at public locations when physical distance is not possible.

The Town of Nantucket has received information that MassDEP/UMass is interested in collecting well water samples, for free testing of PFAS compounds, in the next few weeks.
