Children’s Beach, located at 15 Harbor View Way, has been Nantucket’s popular downtown outdoor recreation area since the early 1900’s. Its proximity to the popular shops and restaurants of Nantucket’s historic cobblestoned business district makes Children’s Beach a delightful walking-distance respite to the hustle and bustle of the summer. As its name implies, Children’s Beach is perfect for youngsters with a small lifeguarded beach, manicured park, playground, picnic tables, bandstand and concession stand. Seasonal activities and events are programmed for the park and bandstand. Please refer to the Children’s Beach Activities page for schedules and information.
