Historic District Commission

Message to Historic District Commission Applicants:

Please be advised that during the COVID 19 Pandemic any complex and/or potentially contentious applications in the opinion of Staff or the Chair will not be reviewed by the Commission due to logistical issues with the current meeting format.

In addition, any HDC applications that require review from the Preservation Planner that fall within the Old Historic District (OHD) or Sconset Old Historic District (SOHD)  which are determined to require additional review by either the Historic Structures Advisory Board  or the Sconset Advisory Board,  will be set aside until the Governor has lifted the Stay at Home Order and  public meetings can reconvene.

The Historic District Commission (HDC) meets every Tuesday at 4:30 pm (except on holidays) at the Public Safety Facility building, 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket, MA.
