Welcome to the Town of Nantucket 2022 OPEN ENROLLMENT and 

VIRTUAL BENEFITS FAIR for Plan Year July 2022 – June 2023!

2022 Open enrollment begins May 2, 2022, and ends May 31, 2022.  More info HERE.

This is the time to review, enroll and/or make changes to your benefits plan options. To ensure the safety of our employees during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we are bringing the Annual Benefits Fair to you virtually. Need to change your enrolment from Single to Family? Or make a change from one plan or option to another? This is your opportunity to make those and other changes.

Pre-Enrollment Education

You will be able to meet with several vendors virtually (twice during the month of May) and pick up the details you need to choose your 2022-2023 benefits with confidence:  

                      1. See AGENDA HERE. 

                      2. REGISTER for a LIVE event using our registration form SEE BELOW 

You will receive an email confirmation with details about the meeting that you signed up for.

                     3. Be sure to invite your spouse and dependents to join so you don’t miss out!

You can still make changes, enroll or cancel benefits by reaching out to our vendors directly or reaching out to HR (for Boston Mutual, BCBS, Altus Dental, and TASC). Vendors’  contact Information BELOW.

Enrolling is Easy!

  • Review your paystub: confirm you are aware of all policies you currently hold and the benefits they provide
  • Complete a new enrollment form if you wish to enroll or make changes to your benefits (SEE BELOW)
  • Register for the Virtual Open Enrollment May 2 - May 31
  • Return your completed enrollment form(s) to Human Resources by MAIL only before the deadline.

All changes made during open enrollment are effective July 1, 2022.

**PLEASE NOTE: TASC Flexible spending accounts must be renewed annually***

WHAT IS NEW and/or CHANGING for Plan Year July 202- June 2023?


  • FSA --- a new annual limit of $2,850 (vs $2,750) determined by IRS for the Healthcare Flexible Spending
  • DCA --- no changes apply to the annual limit of $5,000 for Dependent Care Flexible Spending
  • CARRYOVER --- new carryover limit of $570.00 (vs $550.00) for plan year June 30, 2022- July 1, 2023
  • NEW --- Identity Theft Protection of $25,000 annual aggregate limit with no deductibles is offered with your FSA or DCA accounts                                  (No action needed: each participant is automatically enrolled in the program)
  • ENROLLMENT --- You don’t automatically roller, and a new enrollment form is required each year (see BELOW)

Code “TASC FSA” stands for TASC Healthcare Flexible Spending Account

Code “TASC DCA” stands for TASC Dependent Care Account Flexible Spending Account


  • Effective July 1, 2022, Master Medical, Blue Care Elect (PPO), and Blue New England (HMO) premiums will be increasing by seven percent (7%).
