Operations During Covid-19 Pandemic
The Assessor’s Office is now accepting requests for in-office appointments. These appointments are for taxpayers who we are unable to help via phone or email. In order to continue to keep the public and our staff safe, appointments will be limited to one person. All persons will be required to wear a mask at all times, maintain social distancing, and hand sanitize. These appointments are not intended for anything that can otherwise be accomplished over the telephone or by email.
The Assessor’s Office will be available for pre-approved appointments on Monday mornings 10 - 12, Tuesday afternoons 2 - 4, Thursday afternoons 2 - 4 and Friday mornings 10 - 12.
Please call the Assessor, Rob Ranney, at 508-228-7200 extension 7037 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will discuss whether an appointment is necessary.
An assessment is the value placed upon real and personal property for the purpose of local property taxation.
An analysis of market conditions along with assessment level and uniformity must be performed annually as of January 1, whether for the five-year certification or for an interim year adjustment.
Appraisal Vision Data
Information in the Appraisal Vision Database represents ownership and values as of January 1, 2020 for the fiscal year 2021 billing.
While we continue to update our records on an annual basis, at this time not all properties have photographs.
User Note: Users of the Appraisal Vision website should be aware that zoning information shown is as of the assessment date for tax purposes and should not be relied upon for permit or license applications. The relevant town agencies should always be consulted for zoning updates and accuracy.
